Ursula Carlisle, FNP, is an experienced family nurse practitioner at Bossier Family Medicine, LLC, with two locations in Bossier City and one in Stonewall, Louisiana. She has been with the practice since 2018 and has nine years of experience working as a CPR instructor.
Ursula graduated with a master’s degree in nursing science from Northwestern State University in Shreveport, Louisiana. She’s certified as a family nurse practitioner and is working on her certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES) credential.
Ursula has been teaching a licensed practical nurse (LPN) program at Louisiana State University at Shreveport (LSUS) for the past nine years. She was nominated as Nurse of the Year and a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Ursula also received the LSUS Outstanding Teacher’s Award.
She maintains her nursing credentials with continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in family medicine diagnostics and treatments.
In her free time, Ursula enjoys spending time with friends and family. Her children have given her the title “best mom ever.” One of her proudest accomplishments is holding the record for the most home runs hit in the state of Louisiana in one season.
Ursula enjoys helping her patients stay healthy, recover quickly from illnesses, and properly manage chronic diseases. She welcomes them to Bossier Family Medicine, LLC, and looks forward to caring for them.
